# Pattern Paste > WordPress block patterns that inherit your theme’s style. Copy adaptive layouts into your block theme, with your colours, fonts and spacing. Pattern Paste: Adaptive patterns inherit your block theme’s colours, fonts and spacing. Keep your existing theme and add layouts that fit your site. You do not need a Pattern Paste theme or the theme tool. Optional styled extras declare their own colours or type and are clearly labelled. Supported block themes provide the styles and matching presets; missing colour presets fall back to WordPress defaults and may need adjusting. The library includes 232 patterns across 24 sections and a free theme tool. Layout patterns use core WordPress blocks and need no extra plugin. Interactive patterns are labelled Needs plugin and require the included companion plugin for their behaviour. Everything you copy is yours to keep.
