Identical markup in every theme.

Your page ground and text, rules and labels in the theme's rule and label roles; the three verdicts are a filled tag, a solid outline and a dashed outline.

### Spur

This variation states its own colours and states its own type: identical in every theme.

## The signature moment: every problem ends in a verdict: ring now, book it, or do this first

**Seven ruled rows sorted by urgency, each three columns: the problem as a
card title, what to do now in one or two plain instructions, and a verdict
tag at the right.** A legend in the header names the three verdicts in words,
so the tag never carries its meaning by colour or shape alone. On a phone
each row stacks: problem, instruction, verdict.

## What it inherits from your theme

- **Typeface.** The base states no font family.
- **Palette.** Your page ground and text. Labels take the label role and
  rules the rule role, both falling to your `contrast` colour.
- **The verdicts.** Ring now is a filled tag in your `contrast` with `base`
  text; Ring them, then us a 2px solid outline; Book it a 2px dashed
  outline.

## What it decides for itself

- **Sizes.** The heading is on your `x-large` rung and each problem on
  `large`; the instructions take `medium`.
- **The rows.** `core/columns` at 30, 44 and 26 percent, stacking below
  782px as WordPress's columns do.

## What to change first

1. **The problems and the instructions.** Keep each instruction short
   enough to follow with wet hands.
2. **The two phone numbers in the legend** (07700 900 247 and
   0115 496 0247 are reserved example numbers).
3. **The gas row.** 0800 111 999 is the real National Gas Emergency number
   for Great Britain; keep it, or put your own country's gas line in.

## The Spur look

Part of the Spur Pattern Set, an electrician and plumber in Beeston,
Nottingham: switch white ground `#f2f3ef`, a fuse grey band `#e2e7ec`, card
white `#ffffff` and a cable black slab `#14181c`; cable black ink, slate
`#4a535b` for secondary copy, live blue `#1747c9` labels and primary buttons,
conduit hairlines `#c5ccd2`, and signal yellow `#ffd21a` kept for emergencies
as a fill under cable black text. Headings and figures are Arial Black at
900; body, labels and buttons Arial. Cards and buttons have 4px corners,
tags 2px. Here the rows sit on the fuse grey band: Ring now is a signal
yellow tag edged in cable black, Ring them, then us a cable black tag with
white text, Book it a dashed live blue outline. Every text pair is measured
on the ground it is painted on. Take the base for your theme's colours, or
