## The signature moment: nested plate containment with internal sub-cards

This pattern introduces a compound surface hierarchy: an overarching `role-plate` container establishes a common bounded workspace, inside of which two balanced sub-cards (one media-oriented, one spec-oriented with checklist items) live. The enclosing plate provides visual unification for multi-faceted features such as local development vs. cloud deployment workflows.

## What it inherits from your theme

- **Typeface.** Inherits all active theme fonts for headings, tags, lists, and body copy.
- **Palette.** Section ground uses `base` (falling back to `white`), copy uses `contrast` (falling back to `black`). Outer container and inner text use `role-plate` and `role-plate-text`.
- **Dividers & Sub-card borders.** Hairlines use `role-rule` and `currentColor`.
- **Spacing.** Container padding and column gutters follow the core spacing preset scale.

## What it decides for itself

- **Proportion.** A 50/50 two-column split nested inside an outer constrained 1240px plate wrapper.
- **Typography hierarchy.** Section heading on `xx-large`, plate intro on `x-large`, sub-card headings on `large`, body copy on `medium` ladder rungs.

## What you change first

1. **Sub-card focus areas.** Tailor the two sub-cards (`Local Workflows` vs `Cloud Deployments`) to contrast two complementary sides of your product.
2. **Media & checklists.** Upload a screenshot into the left sub-card and update the checklist points in the right sub-card.

The copied markup includes WordPress Photo Directory example photographs. The public image URLs
keep the examples visible after pasting. Select an image or cover and choose
