# Logo sector ledger

> Ten client logos filed into five sector rows. Full-width horizontal rules divide each complete row, with a vertical rule separating the sector from its pair of logos. The pair stays together on mobile. Includes replaceable demonstration artwork and uses core WordPress blocks only.

## The signature moment: a continuous ruled ledger with a sector label beside each pair of logos

Full-width horizontal rules divide complete rows. Each label takes a narrow index column and each pair of marks sits beyond a vertical divider. The repeated alignment makes the section read as a directory.

## What it inherits

The ground and text use base and contrast fallback chains ending in core white and black. Labels add role-label as the first rung. Rules use currentColor. The theme supplies the typeface, vertical spacing scale and gaps. The image artwork retains its source colours.

## What it decides

The band uses a 1240px measure and fluid gutters. Each row has a 26/74 column split, with two equal image tracks inside the wider column. Each logo has a 3.5rem height and object-fit: contain, preserving the whole mark without cropping or stretching.

Horizontal rules belong to the row wrapper, never its individual cells. Columns stretch to the row height instead of centring their own bordered boxes. The logo column draws the vertical divider. Changing a sector label or replacing a mark therefore cannot step the horizontal boundaries.

## Display type

The section has no heading or body paragraph: its text consists of short directory labels. These use a 15px to 16px clamp, 0.12em tracking, uppercase marking and 1.3 leading. Their proportions stay independent of the theme's heading ladder.

## What you change first

Replace the demonstration logos and sector labels with your own approved client list. Duplicate or remove a complete row to add or remove a sector. Keep the two images together inside the row's logo grid. Trim excess transparent padding from your source files if one mark looks smaller than its neighbour.

## Responsive behaviour

Below the core 782px breakpoint, each sector label stacks above its pair of logos. The marks remain side by side in two equal tracks. The logo area's left divider becomes an inset rail beneath the label. Horizontal rules still run across the full width of every row.

## Contrast

All labels are small text, held to 4.5:1. Rules use the surrounding text colour. The scoped verify loop measures resolved contrast on the stock themes and the no-preset control. Check replacement artwork against your chosen section ground.

## Included images

The copied markup includes demonstration brand logos from the catalogue artwork registry. Sector assignments illustrate the layout and are not a claim about those brands or an endorsement. Replace them and their labels before publishing. Public image URLs do not import Media Library attachments. See [image credits](/image-credits/).
