# Menu counter slip

> An oversized order number anchors a lunch deal beside a narrow counter menu. Three sandwiches, two sides and a drinks line lead to a dotted receipt foot, lunch total and ordering information. States no colour and no font of its own.

## The signature moment: the short menu hangs from one oversized order number

The left-hand order number is the largest element; a small lunch offer sits beneath it. The taller menu slip hangs from the same top rule, with a dotted foot and a plain total. The order marker precedes the menu on a phone.

## What it inherits from your theme

The Core payload uses the theme’s base and contrast chains, currentColor rules, its typefaces and heading ladder. Text is intended for 4.5:1 contrast, or 3:1 at large display sizes; the rendered checks measure the actual pairs. Headings and links follow the root painter. The inherited Core payload is the theme route for this composition.

## Display type

The order number uses clamp(6rem, 13vw, 13rem), because its scale is the composition. Receipt labels and prices use 15px; dish descriptions take medium. The lunch offer uses the heading ladder.

## The Styled look

Cream ground #FFF3DC, aubergine-black ink #35252E and aubergine accent #67334D; Georgia dishes and headings with Courier New receipt labels and a square aubergine ordering button. Every button is deliberately filled or underlined, with its own padding. The root states a 400 body weight.

## What to change first

Replace the fictional Forty Two lunch counter name, dishes, prices and service hours. Set the button destination to your ordering information; the sample does not collect payment.

Core blocks only. No script, custom CSS, font file or required plugin.
