# Team wedding party aisle

## The signature moment: the two sides face each other across an aisle

**A hairline runs down the centre; each person is a row with an initial in a
drawn circle toward the aisle and the words away from it.** On the left
side the words are right-aligned and the circle sits at the row's right end;
on the right side the circle comes first. The flower girl stands alone,
centred, under a rule beneath both sides.

On a phone the columns stack under their headers ("Nell's side", "Sam's
side") and the aisle line disappears (it is the border of an empty column,
which stacks to no height). The left side keeps its mirror: right-aligned
words, circle on the right, so the two sides still read as facing. Flex order
cannot flip at a breakpoint; looked at 390px wide, the mirrored rows read
cleanly, so they stay.

## What it inherits from your theme

- **Typeface.** The base states no font family.
- **Palette.** An inversion: your `contrast` ground with `base` text, labels,
  circles and rules, so it reads as a slab in any theme.

## What it decides for itself

- **The circles.** 3.5rem rings drawn with a 1px border and a 50% radius,
  each holding one italic initial. They are type, not pictures.
- **The names.** 1.375rem, off the ladder, so seven names read as a list and
  not as seven headings.

## What to change first

1. **The names, roles and lines**, and each circle's initial.
2. **The side headers.** Add or remove a person by duplicating or deleting a
   row group inside a side.
3. **The flower girl**, or delete that group if there is no one to stand
   there.

## The Vow look

Didot at 400 (Bodoni MT, Hoefler Text, Baskerville, Times New Roman, serif),
body, labels and buttons Gill Sans (Seravek, Trebuchet MS, sans-serif). Cards
and buttons are square; the primary button is a filled midnight rectangle, the
secondary an underlined peony link. Every text pair is measured on the ground
it is painted on. Take the base for your theme's colours, or the look's **Use
my theme** chip.
