Questions, answered

What new clients ask before the first invoice, answered plainly and all in one place.

What are your working hours?

Monday to Friday, nine to half past five, UK time. We answer email within one working day and we do not work weekends, which is how we keep our estimates honest.

How many rounds of revisions are included?

Two per stage, built into every quote, and most projects never use the second. Further rounds are billed at the day rate, and we tell you before we start one rather than after.

When and how do I pay?

Half on signing and half on handover, by bank transfer against an invoice. Projects longer than three months are billed monthly instead, so nobody carries a large sum for long.

Who owns the work when it is finished?

You do, outright, on final payment: the source files, any fonts we licensed on your behalf and the right to use the work anywhere. We keep only the right to show it in our portfolio.

How long does a typical project take?

Six to ten weeks from kick-off to launch for a brand and a site together; a site on its own is usually four. The date in your proposal is the one we plan the studio around.

What happens after launch?

Thirty days of support, included, for anything that is not right. After that you can hand it to your own team, take a monthly retainer, or call us when something needs doing.
