Included
Parts, labour, VAT and clearing up after. If the job turns out bigger once we open it up, we stop, show you and give you a new price before we carry on.
You never pay for a change you did not agree to.
Certificates
Yes. Electrical work comes with an installation or minor works certificate, and we notify Part P work to building control. Gas work is registered with Gas Safe.
We send the certificate the same day, by email.
Parking and access
No. We pay any parking ourselves. We need a clear path to the consumer unit, the stopcock or the boiler, and someone over 18 at home.
If the van cannot get close, tell us and we carry the kit in.
Guarantee
Every job carries a 12-month workmanship guarantee. Ring the office and we come back and put it right, at no charge.
Parts carry the maker's warranty on top, usually one to five years.
VAT
No. Every price we give you already includes VAT at 20%, and the invoice shows it on its own line.
Landlords and businesses get a full VAT invoice.
Paying
When the job is done and you have seen it working. Card, bank transfer or cash, and nothing up front for jobs under £500.
Bigger jobs: a third on booking, the rest when we finish.
