Hectares under vine

Picked by hand, in the order the sun reaches each valley.

1911

First vintage

Four generations on the same slope, in the same stone cellar.

41

Barrels this year

Fewer than last year. A dry spring made the choice for us.

The estate

Three hundred and twelve hectares on the south-facing slope, farmed by the same family for four generations and bottled in the cellar under the house.

How it works

Five stages, each one dated before it starts.

The whole engagement on one page, in the order it happens. Nothing begins until the stage above it is signed off, and every date is set at the first session.

No.

Stage

What happens

01

Discovery

A half-day with everyone who has a say in the outcome. You leave with a written brief and a fixed date against every stage below.

02

Structure

Sitemap, page inventory and the wireframes that settle the argument before anyone opens a design tool.

03

Design

Two rounds on the pages that carry the work, then the system behind them: type scale, colour, spacing, components.

04

Build

The system becomes a block theme. Your editors get patterns and a design system, not a page builder to fight.

05

Handover

A recorded walkthrough, written documentation, and thirty days of questions answered the same day you ask them.

Fixed fee per stage. Dates set at discovery and held.

The studio

Six people, one design system, not a single headshot.

Every person here is introduced by a monogram set in your own typeface. There is no portrait to commission, no crop to get wrong, and nothing to go missing when somebody leaves.

PR

Priya Raghunathan

Founder, principal design

Draws the ramp first and the colour last, which is why nothing here needs a palette.

MF

Marcus Feld

Design director

Twenty years of print behind him, and it shows in every measure on the page.

AB

Aoife Brennan

Lead engineer

Writes the markup the checkers try hardest to break, then breaks it herself first.

TL

Tomas Lindqvist

Systems and typography

Keeps the type scale honest across a serif theme and a sans one, without a fallback.

NO

Nadia Osei

Content strategy

Decides what a section is for before anyone decides what it looks like.

BW

Ben Whitlock

Client partner

Reads the brief twice, then asks the question everyone else had been avoiding.

Roles rotate by project. The studio keeps no bench, so whoever is named on a piece of work is the person who made it.

The one everyone asks

How long does it take to get set up, and what do we have to do?

Most teams are live within a fortnight. The first week goes on moving your existing records across and checking them against what you already hold; the second goes on training, in your own account and with your own data, so nobody learns on a demo they will never see again. If you have a hard date, tell us at the start and we will plan backwards from it.

What does it cost?

One price per seat, billed monthly or yearly, with no set-up fee. The yearly plan is two months cheaper, and either can be cancelled from your own account without a phone call.

Is there a minimum term?

No. Monthly plans run month to month and stop at the end of the period you have paid for. Yearly plans are refunded in full if you cancel inside the first thirty days.

Can we import what we already have?

Yes. Spreadsheets, exports from the usual tools and plain CSV files all come across, and we check the import with you before anything goes live.

Who owns our data?

You do, at every point. Export it whenever you like in an open format, and if you leave we delete our copy within thirty days and confirm that in writing.

Do you offer training?

Every plan includes onboarding for the people who will use it day to day. Larger teams can book further sessions, on site or remote, at any point afterwards.

What support is included?

Email support on every plan, answered by the people who build the product, within one working day. Phone and priority support come with the larger plans.

Can we add people later?

Whenever you need to. New seats are billed from the day they are added and pro-rated to your existing renewal date, so there is never a second bill to keep track of.

How is our data kept secure?

Encrypted in transit and at rest, backed up daily to a second region, and access is controlled per person. Ask for the full security summary before you sign up and we will send it over.
