Specials today band

A band for a café or bakery home page: between two rules, the word Today at display size with a line and one action, then three dishes, each a landscape photograph with its name, price and a note. It sits in the call-to-action section: the ask is the day's food, not a form.

The band leads with one word, Today, at display size, in the same row as the three dishes it introduces. The word takes a narrow first column and the dishes three equal columns beside it, all between two full-width rules, so on a laptop and a tablet the band reads left to right like the counter itself; on a phone it stacks, Today first. Each price sits on its own line under the dish name, so a narrow column never breaks it.

1. The dishes. Replace each photograph, name, price and note.
2. The word. Today can be This week, or a weekday.
3. The link. #menu.

• Typeface. The base states no font family.
• Palette. Your base ground and contrast text; the two rules try role-rule and the label role-label, falling back to contrast.
• Buttons. Your theme's button with a stated padding.

• Today. Off the ladder on purpose: clamp(3.5rem, 7vw, 6rem).
• Dish names and prices. The large rung.

• Core blocks only: group, heading, paragraph, image, buttons, button. No plugin, nothing to keep updated.
• The root group sets headings and links to currentColor, so every heading, paragraph and link inherits the group's text colour in any theme; only role-bearing text (labels, rules, plates) carries its own chain.

The copied markup includes WordPress Photo Directory example photographs. The public image URLs keep the examples visible after pasting.
